Toronto is Canada’s largest city. It is one of the cities that combine our modern world with history. In Toronto, you will find galleries, museums, the famous CN tower and islands. The modern art is represented by concerts of the latest musicals and other arts. The whole city is easy to be navigated either by walking or by using the subway. Let’s explore the most significant places that you should visit in Toronto.

1. CN Tower:

It is the Toronto’s must see landmark. The 554-meter tower is almost seen from everywhere in the city. You can enjoy watching the tower itself or you can enjoy the view from the above by visiting one of the observation areas or a restaurant. You will see a fabulous view of the city and the Lake Ontario.

When CN Tower was built between 1972 and 1976, it was the tallest building in the world.
If you visit Toronto on a clear day, perhaps you should look at the city from the Sky Pod which is the highest viewing point in the tower. You may be able to see Niagara Falls and even New York State from there.

The Edge walk is for people who look for an adventure. After taking the safety precautions, you will be able to walk on a 1.5 meter wide ledge with your hands free.

The tower has many other features including some fabulous restaurants and the Look Out floor.
You must visit it; it is located at 301 Front Street West and actually you can see it from anywhere in the city so you can walk to it easily.

2. Royal Ontario Museum:

ROM or the Royal Ontario Museum is one of the best Canadian museums and one of the most reputable museums in the whole world. It has an amazing collection featuring great exhibitions from all over the world.
Great periods of the world’s history are represented in this museum’s collection. It is located at 100 Queen’s Park. 

3. Rogers Centre:

This massive sports arena is located next to the CN Tower and it has a very unique structure. Its design includes a rood that slides back so when the weather is great, the roof is opened.

It was completed in 1989 and it hosts many kinds of sports games including baseball and football in addition to many musical concerts.
After finishing your visit at the CN Tower, visit Rogers Centre; the place offers one hour guided tours for its visitors.
It is a great place to be visited especillay if you like sports. Also, you can attend one of the concerts and enjoy the great atmosphere.     

4. Art Gallery of Ontario:

AGO or the Art Gallery of Ontario is a modern building in the city center. With its unique design, this art gallery has some of the greatest art collections from all over the world. Canadian, African and Oceanic, and European art collections are included in this gallery.

You will also enjoy one of the most impressive collections of the Canadian paintings in this gallery.
It is located at 317 Dundas Street West.
